Wyckoff Police responded to Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School on Tuesday, March 17, on a report that a man was on the roof of the building.

The individual, later identified as 18 year old Aaron J. Giuffre of Wyckoff, allegedly ignored the police officer's orders and ran to another end of the building. He came down from the roof and was apprehended on a nearby street. Giuffre was charged on a criminal complaint with obstruction of justice for failing to obey the officer's orders, and criminal trespass.

Later that night, at 1:34 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, police made a computer check of the license of a vehicle stopped at a red light, which showed that the registered owner had a suspended drivers license. The driver, Terry C. Corley, of Pequannock, 22, was arrested and charged with driving while his license is revoked; failure to exhibit an insurance card; reckless driving; and driving while intoxicated. He was released to a relative and is scheduled to appear in municipal court on April 2.
