Saddle Brook police: Bloomfield man stole same car twice within a month

The first time, on Sept. 16, police allege that 33-year-old Quinton B. Lewis purchased a 2009 Mercedes-Benz GL550 sport-utility vehicle with AMG wheels using two fake checks totaling $36,500. The victim, a local business owner, had asked Lewis for identification but he claimed not to have any on him, said Deputy Police Chief Robert White.
