Bergen County commemorates 95th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide

commemoration ceremony at Armenian Genocide Monument in Emerson, NJEMERSON, N.J. – Bergen County Executive Dennis McNerney and the Board of Chosen Freeholders recently hosted a commemoration ceremony for Armenian Genocide victims. The event was held near the Armenian Genocide Memorial monument in Emerson, dedicated in July 1990 by the Knights of Vartan, Bakradouny Lodge No. 38.
