Moonachie couple's Christmas extravaganza bounces back year after Sandy

For two Moonachie families, hope triumphs over Sandy's despair

After the devastation of Superstorm Sandy, Beth and Michael Meehan were determined to return to Moonachie and restore their hundred-year-old brick house. For Domenick and Lisa Arsi, there was no hope of reclaiming their trailer in the Vanguard Mobile Home Park. Though one family stayed in Moonachie and the other left, a year later, both have found stability, and renewed faith, amid loss.
