Montvale Councilman Salvatore Talarico, who is running for reelection next month, and Mayor Roger Fyfe said they took the generator from the Department of Public Works garage to Talarico's home so he could keep his cellphone charged to work on emergency borough business. Talarico is liaison to the Police Department.
