Ho-Ho-Kus to hold 4th annual Junior Police Academy

HO-HO-KUS, NJ - The Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department will be holding its 4th annual Ho-Ho-Kus Junior Police Academy from July 6-10.

The objective of the Junior Police Academy is to promote an environment where students learn the basic principals of respect, discipline, team work, motivation, and dedication. Each student gains a comprehensive understanding of the laws that govern our country and the legal process that protects our citizens. The students begin as individuals and end as a team.

The Academy is open to 5th Graders of the Lloyd School only, and will take place as always at the Lloyd School on Lloyd Road in Ho-Ho-Kus. This year's class is expected to be the largest academy class to date.

The fee for the academy is $100 per child.

All applications, along with all signed forms and payment must be returned to the Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department, 55 Sycamore Avenue, Ho-Ho-Kus, by Monday, June 1. A $25 late fee will be applied to anyone who submits an application after June 1, 2009. Please make check or money order payable to Ho-Ho-Kus Jr. Police Academy. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.
