Six workers exposed to ozone gas at Haworth United Water facility

Six maintenance workers were exposed Tuesday to dangerous ozone gas at United Water’s treatment facility here. No one was injured. During routine maintenance, a leak was detected and the ozone system was shut down, said Steve Goudsmith, a United Water spokesman.

Minivan drives into exterior of Haworth Municipal Library

A driver of a minivan was injured July 16 when the vehicle hit the exterior of the Haworth Municipal Library, causing significant damage to the building. "[The van] went through a brick veneer into a cinder block wall," said police Lt. Michael Gracey. "There was nobody in the room at the time."
