Emerson's former borough attorney, Scott Mooney, entered into a court agreement on Wednesday barring him from seeking public office in New Jersey for the rest of his life to resolve election fraud charges issued by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office in December. Today, Ronald Griffin, the second man named in the charges, resigned from his seat on the Emerson Council.
