Dumont's Selzer School to remain closed through Wednesday

Selzer School in Dumont, New JerseyDUMONT, N.J. - The Dumont public school district just announced that Selzer School is still experiencing a power outage that must be resolved by PSE&G. Tomorrow, March 17th, all Selzer School students, including the middle school, will stay home from school.

Dumont High SchoolThe Dumont Board of Education is reporting that all Dumont public schools will be closed on Tuesday, March 16 due to residual storm damage. All schools are expected to be reopened on Wednesday, March 17.

Dumont community turns out to support Sposato family at benefit dinner

The Lincoln School PTO and the Sposato Family would like to thank everyone that sponsored, assisted, baked and donated to the Sposato Family Benefit Dinner at Dumont High School on Friday, October 16, 2009. We are completely overwhelmed by the amount of people who attended: there were over 325 people.

DUMONT, N.J. - The Lincoln School PTO will be holding a Pasta Dinner Benefit for the Sposato family on Friday, October 16 from 6:00pm-8:30pm at the Dumont High School Cafeteria. Tickets are $10 per person, $5 for children 10 and under. John Sposato, a Lincoln School PTO member and father of a 2nd grade son, passed away suddenly this past summer. All proceeds go towards the Dominick Sposato Education Fund. Assistance is also needed with setup, serving, bussing, clean up, and providing baked goods.
