A Jersey tomato...the mosquito...a "murder burger".... What items, things, places & occurrences make you think "New Jersey"? BergenNOW will award a prize to the community member who gives the best answer, as chosen by other community members.
What is that thing? And where are you if you're looking at it? Here is our latest contest, open to registered members of the Bergen County online community. The first to answer correctly wins a $50.00 restaurant gift certificate!
We realize that this online community is heavily trafficked, and we thought we'd made it somewhat difficult. But within 35 minutes of announcing our latest community contest - "What Is It?", where community members were asked to identify the thing/place in Bergen County shown in a photograph - we already had a winner!

To our fellow community members: we have stated in past contests our wish that we all deal honestly with each other here - and with the community as a whole - in the community contests. We've asked to please keep things honest and not try to skew the voting like what apparently happened on American Idol. We are a community, and we're counting on the community members to police themselves.
