Bogota mayor resigns, cites bitter political climate on borough council

Two-term Mayor Patrick McHale resigned Wednesday afternoon, submitting a letter to the borough clerk citing the divisive politics that culminated in last week's upset victory by two McHale, whose resignation takes effect immediately, did not return calls for comment.
