LODI, N.J. - A Lodi man was arrested this morning stemming from an investigation which reportedly revealed that he was using the Internet and his cell phone to transmit e-mails, instant messages, and text messages about an impending sexual and physical assault of a child.

NEWARK, N.J. - A Jersey City police officer, Brian Ragauckas, 36, of Secaucus, was arrested today based on a Complaint charging him with bank fraud in connection with a $529,777 mortgage loan that he obtained through alleged false representations to the former Countrywide Bank FSB, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.
