NEWARK, N.J. - A Jersey City police officer, Brian Ragauckas, 36, of Secaucus, was arrested today based on a Complaint charging him with bank fraud in connection with a $529,777 mortgage loan that he obtained through alleged false representations to the former Countrywide Bank FSB, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.

NEWARK – Three men who allegedly used fraud, deceit, and computer hacking to make more than $25 million by acquiring and reselling more than 1.5 million of the most coveted tickets to concerts, sporting events, and live entertainment throughout the United States surrendered to federal authorities this morning after being charged in an Indictment, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.

NEWARK, N.J. – A New Jersey man who admitted traveling to Thailand to have sex with children as young as six years old and producing and possessing child pornography was sentenced today to 235 months in federal prison, announced U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey Paul J. Fishman and Assistant Attorney General of the Department of Justice Criminal Division Lanny A. Breuer.
