firefighters unitedRIDGEFIELD, N.J. - On Sunday, November 22, a four-alarm fire ravaged the home of a local firefighter. Marlon Sahai is a career firefighter with the Bergenfield Fire Department and also a volunteer firefighter in his hometown of Ridgefield.

Marlon Sahai is an Air Force veteran who served in Iraq. The fire destroyed everything he and his family owned.

A fundraiser to raise money for the Sahai family will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Tommy Fox's in Bergenfield. The start time for the event will be at 7:00 p.m. The suggested donation to get into the event, which will include food, music, and fun times, is $20.

Tommy Fox's is located at 32 S. Washington Ave. Bergenfield, NJ 07621. Please come one, come all to help someone that helps others in THEIR time of need.
